So, it's been a while, no new chapter for anything yet, but I have been writing. Some progress made on Darkness Falls, I'm mostly hemming and hawing about where is a good stopping point for this current chapter. Also still need to decide on a quote for the chapter. I have a few in mind, but they're kind of like "eh" choices, or "this quote would go better in a future chapter, I think". That kind of stuff...

Hello! Chapter 8 is done. Certainly didn't take me very long this time. To be completely serious for a moment here, I really hate how suicide is depicted in this story. Hate it! Suicide is something that needs to be done carefully and intelligently. Like rape, for example. It can't just be thrown in your story. And it isn't well handled in Darkness of Love at all. It seems to be JUST a plot device to keep Spike in Ponyville and to make him understand just how important Twilight is to him. And

Another chapter done! It covers the next three chapters of Darkness of Love. Unfortunately, chapter 4 is where the infamous self harm part happens. It was really hard to decide exactly how I would handle it. I take something like suicide VERY seriously and I didn't want to make light of it or joke about it. Hello everyone! The ninth chapter is finished. It covers chapter 10-12 of Darkness of Love by Grimm Reaper with the Epilogue. These last few chapters are why I wanted to riff this story in the first place. I was actually really into the story when I first read it...until I came to these final few chapters. I found them so ridiculous they completely changed my opinion of the entire story. Also the complete nonending infuriated me.
